Key accountabilities:

• Preparation and control of strategic KPI / Assumptions
• Reserves and Resources update
• Optimisation, pit selection, design (also off-pit roads), scheduling
• Calculation and control of costs (ranking of zones), development of measures to reduce costs, assessment of bottlenecks and cost drivers
• Preparation of various scenarios for the long-term development of the company
• Search for optimal development taking into account cash flow maximisation
• Risk assessment (big impact) - stopping the zone, flooding, geotechnical risks, reconciliation of BMs, etc.
• Sensitivity and Cash Flow analysis
• "What if" scenarios
• Selection and optimisation of the mining equipment fleet, including: Simulation of various scenarios with a combination of different equipment, Optimisation of haulage distance, work with cycles and KPIs of equipment, Auxiliary equipment
• Long-term development of waste dumps
• Optimisation of capital stripping strategy
• COG strategy, blending strategy, SPs management (details with design)
• Priority setting for exploration
• Dewatering strategy, support
• Preparing the optimal budget for next year
• Preparation, calculation and management of technical development projects (increasing productivity, reducing costs, introducing technologies and best practices)
• Preparation of presentations on the results (SBP, BP, projects, for HO, etc.)
• Maintaining and control the database on the server
• Local staff training (nationalisation program)

Requirements for employee's knowledge:

• Mine Planning Engineering experience in gold - Open-Pit, not less than 5 years (10 years is preferable)
• Strong knowledge of Mine Design, Short / Mid and Long-Term Mine Planning, knowledge of JORC 2012 Code, Drill & Blast, strong user of Mine Design and Scheduling Software (Surpac, Minesched, Datamine)
• Knowledge in Mine Optimisation is a plus (Whittle)
• Knowledge of Mining Finance 101 and Mining Cost models and sensitivity analysis
• Good level of English, French is a plus

Requirements for employee's qualification level:

• BSc, MSc in Mining Engineering

Conditions:

• 8 weeks on - 4 weeks off rotational basis
