Linum Consult's client is a market leader in the distribution of machine parts across the Mining, Civil Engineering and Heavy Industry sectors in Africa. Due to extended growth they are looking to hire a Technical Director for their office in Conakry- Guinea

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Being the technical-commercial after-sales service representative
• Maintaining the relationships between the PSSR and various clients
• Advising clients on the company's products and services
• Participating in Product Problem Management (PPM) meetings to report and follow-up on any issues with the products
• Collaborating with sales departments and support departments for the development and sale of products and service packages
• Contributing to predictive recommendations for spare parts, to ensure that stocks are at the appropriate levels
• Organising, structuring, supervising, and motivating the technical service personnel
• Evaluating and developing the technical staff's abilities and skillsets
• Participating in recruitment and training where necessary
• Ensuring that all safety procedures and processes are adhered to, and safety training is up to date

PROFILE

• University degree with training in general Mechanics or Electronics
• At least 15 years' experience in the technical department of an industrial company, ideally in a branded dealer network
• Experience working in a Component Rebuild Centre or in After-Sales Customer Service
• Preferably have good knowledge of after-sales activities for machines used in construction or mining
• Excellent communication skills in English
